Anushka Jeevan – A student of Grade 7 has won the Little Author’s Contest 2022 for the third consecutive year. The story theme was ‘Honesty’ - A Story in 500 words illustrated with drawings and sketches. This contest was organised by Fundoodaa Books and provides young aspiring authors a chance to narrate their tales as an expression of their creativity. The story by Anushka has been selected to be featured in Fundoodaa Books and the Fundoodaa App.
Rishi V of Class 6 participated in The Skating competition, 500 M speed skating in the under 12 category which was held in Hanji International School from 4-8 December 2022 and secured the Third Position.

NIS is proud to announce that Harshita of Grade 6 secured a Bronze Medal in Taekwondo in the Karnataka State Taekwondo Championship 2022 that was held at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium and she will now represent the state at the Nationals in Maharashtra.
Team NIS is delighted to inform you that Arpitha R of Grade 6 has secured a Gold Medal in Taekwondo and Silver Medal in Yoga in the Karnataka State Taekwondo and Yogasana Championship 2022 . Arpitha is selected to represent Karnataka at the 47 NATIONAL LEVEL SUB JUNIOR YOGASANA CHAMPIONSHIP 2022 AT PUNJAB.
We are happy to announce that our student Harshitha bagged Gold in 200 meters, Bronze in 100 meters while Arpitha bagged Bronze in 400 meters in the Inter-School Athletics meet held at DPS North.
We are happy to announce that our Volleyball Boys team emerged as winners in the DPS, North inter-school Tournament and lifted the overall trophy for Volleyball. Tejash Vinayak R of Grade 12 was declared player of the tournament.
Keerthan A of Grade 12, Commerce, studying in Nitte International School, Bangalore, has won the preliminary round of ANTARAGNI DJ War organised by IIT Kanpur.
Only one student is allowed to represent a State in this competition. NIS is delighted that Keerthan will be representing Karnataka State in the Final Round to be held at IIT Kanpur shortly.
Congratulations! Vaipul Sanjay Patil , for having cleared NISM EQUITY DERIVATIVE CERTIFICATION EXAM
The examination aims to enable a better understanding of various derivatives products available in equity derivatives markets, regulations and risks associated with the products and the exchange mechanisms of clearing and settlement. The examination also covers knowledge competencies related to the understanding of the financial structure in India and the importance of the different rules and regulations governing the Indian securities market, especially those related to the equity derivatives segment.
The exam is one of the most difficult exams of NISM with a nationwide pass rate of less than 50%.
Currently, at his age, there are very few students who attempt this exam.
This exam is mostly given by Working Professionals.

Nithila S Das – studying in Grade 6 secured a gold medal in cycling at the state level.
Abhishek Jovan – Grade 12 student champion in taekwondo
Bidyudipto Dandyopadhyay – Grade 12 student an amateur in physics. He constructed a Rocker Bogi mechanism. This is a vehicle configuration used for driving over rough terrains. Such vehicles are used extensively for exploratory and reconnaissance purposes in the fields of scientific exploration and defence. It can be used as a surveillance robot to alert people in areas with security threats such as national borders. The Rover will have a Rocker Bogi suspension system with 6 wheels for greater stability in manoeuvring obstacles.
Mandeep Grade 12 student reached the finals of the 1st AITA tournament for tennis in Bangalore. He was the Runner up for the under 16 category.
Aparna - Grade 12 student whose achievements in yoga are remarkable.
Hrithik – Grade 12 student an amateur scientist. He participated in NAEST along with students across India. NAEST encourages students to do scientific experiments. They appreciated Hrithik for the development of scientific temper. We are proud of our scientist in making.
Vishal Bharadwaj – Grade 11 student who is fascinated by technology. He developed a contactless digital attendance system using face matrix, which is used at our school. The software is based on an open CV and has been built using python.
Gagan M. H – Grade 12 student budding in the field of archery.
Komal K.V – is an automotive designer by profession. He pursued his bachelors in transportation design from DSKIST Pune and master’s from Strate Ecole De Design in Paris. He was awarded for his thesis project. NIS helped him pursue his passion in automation.
