The school is affiliated to the CBSE Board New Delhi. English is the medium of instruction.

4. How different is the teaching methodology at NIS?

The admission will be available for Pre-Primary to Grade XII.

6. How can I register my ward’s name for admission?

Application form can be either downloaded from the website or picked up from our school campus. Filled in Application form with registration fee and the photocopy of the Report card of the previous Grade should be submitted.

7. What are the documents required for admission?

a) Birth Certificate from the Municipal Corporation or Civic Authorities.

b) A Copy of the latest Progress Report Certified by the School in which the student last studied (if applicable).

c) Two passport size colour photographs of the student and the parents to be enclosed.

d) Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate.

8. What is a teacher –taught ratio at NIS?

NIS has the best and highly accomplished faculty with proven abilities. A small class size of 30-35 students ensures that staff is able to devote adequate time and attention to the students.

9. What kind of facilities is provided for the students at NIS Hostel?

NIS provides a natural and secure abode to students through a well planned and crafted hostel. Each room houses three students with all facilities to ensure the students feel at home. The hostel has modern aesthetically designed full furnished rooms with attached toilets.

10. Does the school give importance to culture and human values?

The school aims at exposing the students to various aspects of Indian culture and value system. It organizes workshops and special talks and makes students participate in spiritual activities. The students can imbibe values if these are not just taught but also demonstrated.

11. How is a student monitored if he/she is weak in a particular subject (s)?

Academically weak students are meticulously observed and are helped to overcome their weaknesses and join the mainstream. Tests are conducted to monitor a child’s performance and weakness.  On the basis of that, remedial classes are conducted wherein personalized tutoring ensure mapping of the child’s academic progress.

13. Are there separate girls and boys hostel?

Yes, there is a separate Boys’ hostel of 60 rooms and a separate Girls’ hostel with 20 rooms.
